Yoga • Breakfast • Jungle Waterfall • Beach • Sunset • Pizza
Looking for the perfect way to spend a full day in El Nido?
Here’s how we did it —
a little wellness, a bit of adventure, and a lot of beauty (and carbs 😄).
🧘🏽♀️ Start Your Morning with Yoga in the Jungle
We kept hearing travelers talk about yoga in El Nido, so we decided to give it a try
— and it was totally worth it! We booked a morning class at
Namaste Yoga the night before via WhatsApp.

The class is held in an open-air space surrounded by jungle,
up a flight of stairs, right in the heart of nature.
It focused mostly on stretching and breathing,
and while it was a calm and grounding experience, I should warn you —
it gets hot. Prepare to sweat 🥵!
🍳 Breakfast at Blend & Grind
Since the yoga studio is near Corong-Corong Beach,
we walked over to Blend & Grind for breakfast.

They have a classic breakfast menu with plenty of drink and meal options —
omelets, pancakes, fruit shakes, and of course, my go-to: avocado toast 🥑.
The food hit the spot and the atmosphere was relaxed and beachy.
🌿 Jungle Hike to Bulalacao Falls (Volcano Waterfalls)
After breakfast, we took a tricycle to Bulalacao Falls,
also known as Volcano Waterfalls.
The ride took about 35 minutes and was surrounded by beautiful scenery.
If you love nature, this spot is a hidden gem.

- Entrance with a local guide: 300 PHP per person
- Hike: about 30 minutes through the jungle
- Shoes: Wear proper walking shoes, the trail can be slippery

The waterfall itself was magical —
quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by lush green trees.
The sound of the water was super calming.
After a little time there, we hiked back the same way.
Tip: Ask your tricycle driver to wait —
there aren’t many rides passing through this remote area.
🏖 Afternoon Chill at Las Cabañas Beach
After the waterfall,
we headed to Las Cabañas Beach for lunch and relaxation.
This beach is seriously stunning and one of our favorite spots in El Nido.

We grabbed a small bite, sipped on fresh coconuts 🥥,
and just enjoyed the sun and the view.
As the afternoon turned golden,
we stayed to watch the sunset — and wow…
it was absolutely breathtaking.
Definitely a must-see if you’re in town.
🍝 Dinner at Basil – A Perfect Ending
To wrap up this dreamy day, we cleaned up, dressed up, and headed to Basil’ pizza & pasta 🌿, a beautiful Italian restaurant in town.

The smell of fresh pizza hits you before you even step inside,
and it tastes just as good as it smells.
Their menu is big, with plenty of pasta and pizza choices.
Honestly,
this was one of the best Italian meals we had in the Philippines —
don’t skip it!
💛 Final Thoughts
This day had the perfect balance of
nature, relaxation, movement, and food —
everything we love about traveling.

Whether you’re into yoga, waterfalls, or just chasing sunsets,
El Nido has it all.
If you’re planning a full day out, save this itinerary.
You’ll come back tired, happy,
and with a camera full of beautiful memories.
